Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your Scrypto purchase. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for a purchase made on the Scrypto website. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Scope

This policy applies to one-time web purchases of Scrypto handwriting analysis reports, processed by our Merchant of Record Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). It does not apply to subscriptions purchased through the iOS App Store or Google Play — those are handled by Apple or Google according to their own refund rules.

2. Nature of the product

Each Scrypto analysis is a digital, made-to-order report that is generated specifically for you immediately after payment. By completing the purchase, you expressly request that we begin providing the digital content right away and you acknowledge that, once the report has been delivered, your statutory right of withdrawal (where it would otherwise apply) is lost.

3. When you can get a refund

We will issue a full refund if any of the following apply:

  • You were charged but never received your analysis report;
  • The report failed to generate due to a technical problem on our side that we cannot fix within a reasonable time;
  • You were charged more than once for the same order;
  • The purchase was made fraudulently without your authorization (please also notify your bank);
  • A refund is required by applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

4. When refunds may not be available

Because reports are digital and delivered immediately, refunds are generally not available when:

  • The report was successfully delivered and you simply changed your mind;
  • You disagree with the personality interpretation (reports are subjective and provided for entertainment/informational purposes);
  • You uploaded a low-quality or unreadable handwriting image that did not allow a meaningful analysis;
  • You purchased the product by mistake but have already viewed the delivered report.

Even where we are not strictly required to refund, we may still offer one as a goodwill gesture — just get in touch and explain what happened.

5. How to request a refund

  1. Email us at info@scrypto.co.uk within 14 days of your purchase.
  2. Include your order/receipt number (it appears on the receipt Paddle emailed you) and the email address used at checkout.
  3. Briefly describe the reason for the refund request so we can help quickly.

6. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are processed by Paddle back to the original payment method. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Any currency conversion fees applied at the time of the original payment are not refundable by us.

If you paid via PayPal, the refund will be returned to the same PayPal account. If your card has since expired or been cancelled, your bank will normally route the refund to the new card associated with your account.

7. Chargebacks

If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve issues faster than a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may delay any refund we would otherwise have issued.
